Media Coverage in Iraqi Satellite Channels of the War on Gaza and Its Reflections on Social Values

Abstract
The study sought to achieve a primary objective, namely to monitor the media coverage in Iraqi satellite channels of the war on Gaza and its repercussions on social values, as well as the media messages conveyed and the extent to which they align with Iraqi social values. The research also aimed to identify the reflections of this coverage on audience attitudes and values related to solidarity, identity, and belonging. This descriptive study employed the survey method, within which a sample of news bulletins from Iraqi satellite channels was analyzed, amounting to 60 media items from Al-Sharqiya channel and 77 media items from Al-Iraqiya channel, using content analysis as the main tool.
