Abstract

This research seeks to study antagonism and its aesthetics in the book Najwa Al-Ghoroub by Mikhail Naimy, as this phenomenon is one of the distinctive stylistic images in his book, which made us say that Najwa Al-Ghoroub is a form of antagonism.

This study aims to demonstrate the aesthetics of antagonism, in his book, which came neither in prose nor in poetry, the study also aims to show the semantic importance of this phenomenon and the role it plays in embodying the vision of the writer towards his society and his life in general.

This study also shows the philosophy that Mikhail possesses, as well as the ability of the recipient to analyze.
