Sports media and stadium riots

Abstract

   Sports media is a branch of specialized media that aims to provide individuals with facts, information, and laws pertaining to each of the widely practiced sports, especially football. Sports media has developed significantly since the middle of the twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty-first century to become one of the most important means that provide knowledge at all social levels, through what it publishes and broadcasts of facts, opinions and ideas that have changed and developed in a short period of time.

   The researcher used the analytical description approach. The objectives of the research are that the sports media should be characterized by accuracy and objectivity in the transmission of sports news, second, the sports media should have a role in guiding the sports fans in preserving the facilities and considering them as the property of all. One of the findings of the study is that the media has a major role in provoking sports riots, and that is through, that there are many ways and methods adopted by the sports media in provoking riots, that the sports media have a positive and negative role in provoking sports riots.

    In this topic, we dealt with the importance of sports media, the objectives of sports media, and the definition of some concepts such as sports media and sports stadium hooliganism, in addition to the objectives of the research, the characteristics of sports media, sports media in the face of sports riots, types of sports media, and the negative role of sports media.
