Structural Styles in the Diwan of the Poet Ali ibn Abdul Aziz Al-Khulai'i (d. 650 AH): A Rhetorical Study

Abstract
This research aims to study the structural styles in the collection of a poet from the second Abbasid era known for his loyalty to the Ahl al-Bayt. The poet in focus is Ali ibn Abdul Aziz Al-Khulai'i (d. 650 AH). The study seeks to identify these styles, explores their rhetorical features. Al-Khulai'i is a late Abbasid poet among the poets of Imam Hussein, exhibiting proficiency in writing. The study of Al-Khulai'i's collection, approached from a rhetorical perspective, is a successful attempt to unveil the rhetorical level reached by the poet. It also sheds light on the cultural context prevailing in his era, where poets of Imam Hussein proliferated excessively in the city of Al-Hillah
