Researchers trends towards using research strategies and tools to access information in the digital environment An exploratory study at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Research Center

Abstract

The study highlights the trends, adopted by researchers to explore the digital content in order to access information, and benefit from them by using various research tools and strategies, and the extent of their knowledge of these strategies and tools provided by the Internet environment, in order to retrieve the best results and more effective access, to achieve the goal of the process. The study targeted a sample of higher degrees, in the Ministry of Youth and Sports and those known to the Research and Studies Center, The study came out with a set of results that showed the sample's demand on the tools and research strategies, that do not need digital skills, and move away from the tools and strategies that need information awareness for use. The study recommended the necessity of developing the skill capabilities of the study sample, and the research center and studies center efforts to attract researchers, and develop their capabilities in searching and investigating information, and ensuring their communication, in order to preserve the informational awareness level, and develop it to cope with the challenges.
