The process of study and investigation required dividing the research into two parts: The first section: I dealt with the impact of miniatures in revealing the historical event and then the beginning of Arabic miniatures and the relationship of literature, poetry, epics, and history to miniatures. We took the most famous example of it (Hatem al-Tai’s miniature presenting a feast) and discussed the technical description and analysis of it, and then the most important schools that influenced the art of miniatures in a brief way with illustrative pictures of them. As for the second section: we discussed the geographical location of Sicily, and then we mentioned the Sicilian cultural miniatures as an example. We mentioned the historical aspect first, then the general description and technical analysis of these first and second artistic paintings.
