Main Article Content
Abstract
This research presents a study of the terms related to nature in the poetry of the Andalusian poet Al-Mu'tamid ibn Abbad (the third king of the Banu Abbad dynasty), specifically in the poems he wrote during his imprisonment in Aghmat, after being captured by the Almoravids following the fall of Seville.
The research focuses on reviewing the various nature-related terms in his poems, examining how these terms appear across different parts of the poems (such as the introduction, body, and conclusion), and studying their impact on the poetic structure in a deep and detailed manner. This is done through an analytical study of selected examples from his poems, aiming to draw conclusions about the effect of these terms on the linguistic depth and overall artistic structure of his poems written during captivity.
