Abstract

Andalusian nature has been an important source of inspiration for the Andalusian poet's themes, because of the rich images it provides his imagination. Social and political life also had a role in the poets’ interest in the theme of war, which contributed to the emergence of enthusiastic poetry, which included describing the war, its causes, consequences, and tools. Horses had great privilege in occupying a wide description space in enthusiastic poetry, for their role in victory, and Andalusians were influenced by East poets. They endeavored to describe it in its various states, in its stillness, and its movement. Their ingenuity in the art of description was demonstrated by the beauty and accuracy of their artistic portraits, which expressed the fertility of their imagination, and their literary ability.
