Abstract
Religion is innate nature that humanity has sought since its existence, and it is the system that governs man.In the land of Mesopotamia, this thought was dominated by rituals, including polytheism, the worship of multiple gods, and the deification of humans, as well as concepts of existence and the afterlife. The ancient Iraqi did not believe in the immortality of the soul as other civilizations, such as the Egyptian civilization, did. This indicates the intellectual development of the Mesopotamian individual. Additionally, we find their distinction between good and evil, as well as righteous and unrighteous deeds.
