Coinage in the Mamluk State: A Historical Study

Abstract
Objectives: The main objective of studying coins is to see how the Islamic state managed its economic and financial affairs in that era and benefit from them.
Methodology: The study adopted a purely historical methodology through an objective study of time and place.
Results: The results showed that coins and paper transactions are official documents that can be relied upon to know the economic and administrative affairs of the country.
Conclusion: Coins played an important role in life and are an important and essential source of Islamic history, and left very important effects in the political, social and economic fields in the Arab Islamic state.
