The Baloch in Iran and their comprehensive economic activities (1921 –1941)
Abstract
Tribes of the Baluch people form a vital part of the social structure in Iran, characterized by their unique customs and traditions spanning centuries. Members of this tribe engage in diverse economic activities including agriculture, local industries, as well as livestock farming, contributing to the Iranian economy and promoting local development. The research is structured with an introduction, three main sections, and a conclusion. The first axis, titled “A Historical Overview of the Baloch,” included their lineage, locations, and geographic distribution in Iran. The second axis, titled “Economic Activities of the Baloch in Iran,” shed light on their economic activities, highlighting the main profession and crafts practiced by the Baloch in Iran. The third axis, titled “Social Activities of the Baloch in Iran,” focused on their inherited social customs and traditions. The conclusion outlined the main findings of the research.
