Abstract

Prose is one of the forms of writing adopted by the Arabs since ancient times, and it is considered one of the literary subjects that had an impact and influence on the souls of the Arabs, represented by speeches and letters that led to political, economic and social treatments, in addition to the military aspects and royal letters that were considered the mouthpiece of the governors and caliphs, and the language of prose communication is characterized by that artistry that is embroidered with rhetorical phrases of the utmost sobriety and precision in order to match the level of the addressees to whom the speech aims to address those phrases chosen by the prose writer, so the matter is not that easy as some think, as prose is a double-edged sword, either positive, addressing reality, or negative, condemning the use of the language of communication that sometimes leads to cowardice and regression. The wisdom tendency is one of the means that the Andalusian writers resort to in a funny gesture from them in explaining that style that distinguished them from others, so it came in advanced stages that follow in the footsteps of the predecessors and the ancients, including Ibn Hareeq al-Balansi, so the research came in three axes, The first is the nature of the wisdom tendency, the second axis: the characteristics of Andalusian wisdom, and the third axis: a look at Andalusian rhetoric.
