Abstract

This research attempts to clarify the Qur’anic cultural reference in Abu Tammam’s poetry. As Abu Tammam; In addition to being a great poet; He is an influential actor in Arab culture in general, and in Arabic poets in particular throughout the centuries that followed until the present day. Knowing that Arab culture in general was characterized by linguistic culture; It included acculturation in the Holy Qur’an, the noble Prophet’s hadith, poetry, and the speech of the Arabs and their likes. And their days; Abu Tammam’s state of education is the same as that of his peers and peers, including scholars, writers, and poets. Educate yourself in those cultures; Therefore, this research came to show the cultural reference that was mentioned in Abu Tammam’s poetry.
