Arwa bint Al-Harith ibn Al-Muttalib and her role towards the Umayyads

Abstract
The Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) played a fundamental role in confronting injustice and oppression, and in reviving and applying the principles of God and His Messenger (peace be upon him and his family). The Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), both men and women, played a significant role and made their mark in confronting oppressors and those who transgressed against Islam, God, and His messengers. Among these Hashemite women is Arwa bint al-Harith, who wrote words of truth through her words and actions. She was distinguished by her courage and eloquence in speaking the truth and confronting the Umayyad dynasty, which transgressed against the true religion and boasted of killing and stealing the lives and rights of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
