Abstract
The study examines the levels of interest of the Al-Sabah newspaper website in the topic of drugs for the period from January 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024. The study is based on a primary question: What is the level of interest of the Al-Sabah newspaper website in the topic of drugs? The goal is to identify the extent of the website's interest in the topic of drugs, a topic that receives significant attention from society, government, and security institutions. This topic is of great scientific importance, as it is characterized by its novelty and has never been studied before.
The study is classified as a descriptive study, as the researchers used a survey approach, both descriptive and analytical, and employed a content analysis method. The survey was conducted using a comprehensive inventory of the website's topic, limiting it to (237) items. The study reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is that the website addressed the topic of drugs with great interest, with variations and variances in the website's use of framing mechanisms based on the topic's use and objectives.
