Aleubad in Al-Hira and their influence in spreading Christianity in the Arabian Peninsula

Abstract

Al-Hira, the capital of the Manadhira state and the meeting place of civilizations of the ancient world, is located south of the city of Kufa. On its land lived multiple religious sects with diverse cultures that blended intellectually with each other. It was distinguished by its comprehensiveness, flexibility, and openness to various cultural inheritances. In this research, we will focus on studying (the people of Al-Hira and their influence in spreading Christianity in the Arabian Peninsula), and they are the most cultured people of Al-Hira. They have a “noted” role in the development of medical sciences and language. They also mastered industry and took up professions. Construction craft They had a distinguished influence in trade and banking, in which they excelled. With the presence of the servants, Christianity maintained its great position in the Kingdom of Al-Hirah for centuries, and to them is due the credit for the transfer of Armenian and Nestorian cultural influences to the Arabian Peninsula before Islam.
