A Study of Tattoos as a Social Phenomenon

Abstract
Tattooing is a human phenomenon that peoples have known and practiced in various forms since ancient times. It is one of the ancient popular legacies that has spread among various human peoples throughout the ages. It is a drawing of different symbols on the body such as animals, plants, people you love, religious symbols, astronomical symbols, and other multiple symbols of this phenomenon. Each drawing has its significance in anthropological science. For some societies, it is an expression of a certain social, material, cultural, political, cosmetic, or decorative state. These drawings were done by acupuncture.
