Abstract

 The progressive movement is the reform one that emerged in the United States in the late nineteenth century. It aimed to make many political and social changes that would help workers, the poor, and women to obtain their rights in the face of capitalist companies and institutions that monopolize all the money and wealth. The four major leaders of the movement: Jennings Bryan, Theodore Roosevelt, Robert M. La Follette, and Woodrow Wilson, in addition to many other activists, most of whom were women, contributed to making many changes and reform measures in various fields.
