Abstract

Masara' Hassan Al-Rawi is one of the most prominent figures in education in Iraq, as he provided the Iraqi and Arab library with a rich intellectual and educational heritage, especially with regard to adult education and literacy. In addition to his contributions to the writing of curricula for intermediate studies. On the other hand, Masara' Al-Rawi held several positions in the Iraqi state, as he became Minister of Culture and Guidance in 1963, and he also headed one of the scientific institutions in Iraq, such as Al-Mustansiriya University, which was founded in 1963, as he was appointed its president in 1968 until 1973, and was then chosen as Assistant Director General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization from 1973 until 1977, in addition to many positions, which made him occupy a membership in the Iraqi Scientific Academy with merit and competence.
