The Educated Female Elite in Kuwait (( Noria Al-Sadani as a Model ))
Main Article Content
Abstract
After Kuwait gained its complete independence in 1961, it witnessed the emergence of an elite of educated and cultured women who played a major role in the field of educating and raising awareness in society in general and demanding the rights of Kuwaiti women in particular. Perhaps Noria Al-Sadani is one of these educated elites, if not the most prominent of them at all.
Nouriya Al-Sadani is one of the most prominent Kuwaiti women who have emerged in the field of women's work. This is due to her early interest in women's issues. She was truly the first political activist, although she was fully aware that these demands cannot be achieved and presented on a golden platter, but rather must be taken by force, such as independence and the freedom of peoples.
