Abstract

Many emirates were established in the east of the Islamic world, and these emirates were ethnically diverse, including Turkish, Persian, and Kurdish. Among these emirates that were formed and had an important political entity for more than a century was the Ziyari Emirate, which ruled vast areas of Iran. Because of the financial capabilities, the scientific and intellectual movement flourished as a result of this emirate. In addition to that, a number of princes were writers and poets.
