Symbolic expressionand the spread dynamic of digital content across the networked society

Abstract
The problem of the present study revolves around understanding the intertwined relationship between technology and society in creating social meaning in light of the technology of the network society represented by social networking sites, and how this relationship leads to the production of new forms of expression bearing diverse social and cultural meanings. The researcher relied on a descriptive analytical approach and a set of research tools, such as observation and interviews with members of the network society in the city of Baghdad. The research concluded that electronic content and expression via the network society through digital platforms are created from the audience's cultural familiarity with technology and its objectives. It represents a relationship between society and technology to create a culture specific to communication, a culture of digital communication.
