Abstract

Political relations clashed between the Mongols of Fayhaq and the Russian princes during the period of widespread chaos that befell their state in the seventies of the Hijri century/fourteenth century AD. The Russian princes fought them and neglected to pay annual taxes, so the Mongols of Fayhaq resorted to launching fierce military campaigns that refused to yield results despite the difficult circumstances, but they strengthened the position of some Russian princes, Ivan II and Demitry IV
