Abstract
The problem of methodology in Islamic philosophical studies and Arab heritage is a fundamental problem, as it is no longer possible to define science and philosophical issues except through the methodologies on which it is based. The methodology of Islamic philosophy is a multifaceted methodology, as each work has its own field of research, and the study must take the philosopher within his environment. In light of this understanding, our research had to address first the term "Islamic philosophy," then define the concept of methodology, leading to an introduction to the thinker Hassan Majid Al-Obaidi. After that, we moved on to discuss the methodology of Hassan Al-Obaidi and the types of methodologies he used in his study of the issues he addressed in Islamic philosophy
