ABSTRACT Being a sourcebook of religion and jurisprudence , the Holy Quran has provided the Quranic narrative character with some flavor of art when introducing him or her to the reader. This Holy Book is creative linguistically and technically to the extent that this very masterpiece of literature presents the history figures and literary characters creatively so as to perform its lexical function well as far as the holy text is concerned. Naming is considered to be one of technical elements as it is one of simplest types of personification. Each attempt at naming indicates action, sense, and individuality. It is the name that specifies the character in question and makes him or her well-known and unique.
