Abstract
A en croire ce que déclarait Robbe Grillet dans une interview, Camus a beaucoup réfléchi à écrire un roman au passé composé, ainsi serait né L'Etranger. Robert Champigny pense que tout le roman s'effondrerait s'il était transposé au passé simple, il ne serait plus qu'un second Candide. L'étude de l'effet du passé composé sur le récit s'annonce donc fructueux.
