The relation between the psychological security and achievement motivation

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the relation between the psychological security and achievement for some athletics events players , the research used the descriptive approach because it fit to the nature of the research . The sample of the research contained ( 70 ) students who represent the complex research of the first and the second level of the physical education college / Al-Mustansiriyah university . The sample was chosen deliberately of those who have some achievements in these events and the research used the measure of the psychological needs ( after feeling secured ) within Maslo theory for need , and these statistical methods were used in the extraction of results ( mean , standard deviation , simple correlation coefficient , analysis of variance test ) . The research found out a relation in psychological security measure and achievements .
