Performatives and Constatives in Arabic: A Pragmalinguistic Analysis

Abstract

The aim of this paper is twofold.First,it pragmatically describes constatives and performatives in Arabic.Second,it tries to survey the linguistic expressions that Arabic makes use of to express illocutionary meanings.
