Russo-Finnish Winter War of 1939-1940 was one of the most important results of the World War II.when Soviet Union demanded Finland to forgo some cities and islands in the Finnish Gulf to protect Leningrad from a possible German invasion.Winter War broke out in November 30th1939 and lasted more than three monthes,to be ended by Moscow peace Treaty signed in March 12th1940.which forced out Finland to hand over many provinces to Soviet authority more than what already demanded by the negotiations of Autumn,1939. ا
