Verbs of Doubt & of the Certainty: a study of the Phenomenon of Place-Supplying

Abstract
This research deals with a syntactical phenomenon widely used in books of grammar and Quranic interpretation and parsing, which is the phenomenon of “Place-Supplying”- “Taking Place of”. The research dealt with its concept at the level of linguistic meaning and terminology, built upon how the grammarians used it, and upon its other issues such as: full meaning, vocabularies disorder, and how this ungrammatical disorder has been handled. The researcher is partly dedicated to the grammatical usage of this phenomenon in context of “Verbs of Doubt and of Certainty - Verbs of Opinion” in the light of Quranic usage as a practical material, and to the impact resulted from this employing at the semantic aspect.
