Abstract

Poetry is considered the finest Arab literary art since the ancient era, to the point that it is a vessel in which the Arab poet contains his emotions, feelings and thoughts. Antitheses are also considered one of the finest arts of Arabic poetry in the Umayyad era. It was a distinctive literary phenomenon as it represented a form of literary conflict between poets, and despite it being As an extension of the debates of the pre-Islamic era, it was considered a new type of debate literature because of the controversy it caused in the field of poetic argument. It became a feature of the era at that time.The main goal of the manufacture of a rich text in terms of building and meaning is the totality of conversational processes that occurred around it and produced an integrated text capable of making a difference to the recipient, and this is what we have seen in the poetry of the contrasts of the poetic color that we adopted for our research this through selected models of it was as the value of the dialogue was high and proved the axioms of access to analytical results dominated the subject of poetry itself, hence the breakthrough to subject texts to rhetorical processes characterized by the employment of a group of Argumentative techniques are defined by an external framework, namely traditional rhetorical means such as metaphor and analogy, so the text takes its own rhetorical character according to the level of argumentative analysis.
