The Level of Knowledge Economy Skills Possessed by Graduate Students in the College of Arts at the University of Basrah

Abstract
The current study aims to measure the level of possession of knowledge economy skills by graduate students at the College of Arts at the University of Basra, which includes critical thinking, innovation, digital skills, and knowledge management. The descriptive survey method and a research tool consisting of 60 paragraphs were used, distributed over eight main axes of knowledge economy skills. The tool was applied to a sample of graduate students, numbering 162, male and female master's and doctoral students. After analyzing the sample members' responses, the study concluded that it is necessary to update graduate studies curricula to enhance knowledge economy skills, intensify training on modern technologies, and adopt interactive teaching methods. It also recommended the establishment of business incubators to support innovation, periodically evaluate skills, and hold seminars to enhance awareness of the role of the knowledge economy in sustainable development.
