Abstract

Aggressive behaviors in classrooms are considered a challenge facing the educational process, as they negatively impact the learning environment and students' academic achievement. Counseling plays an important role in combating this phenomenon by providing psychological and social support to students and enhancing their self-control and positive interaction skills. Teachers' perceptions of this role are an influential factor in the success of counseling programs within schools, as they are the closest to students and the first to notice aggressive behaviors and can address or direct them appropriately. This study aims to identify teachers' awareness of the importance of counseling and its role in reducing classroom aggression. It also examines the methods they consider effective for intervention and counseling, as well as the challenges they face in this area. By analyzing teachers' opinions, it is possible to conclude the need to strengthen counseling programs within schools and train teachers on strategies for dealing with aggressive behaviors, with the goal of creating a safer classroom environment that supports students' psychological and behavioral development.
