Abstract

This research reviews the impact of digital technology on youth behavior in society, focusing on the deviations that arise as a result of the unregulated use of digital space. Research shows that technological progress is not just a technological development, but also an arena in which families, youth, and technology companies compete. The study shows that extreme immersion in the digital space can lead to phenomena such as addiction, cyberbullying, decreased social interaction, and loss of cultural identity. The research also highlights the importance of the family's role in guiding children's behavior through thoughtful supervision, constant dialogue, and enhancing critical thinking skills. It also draws attention to the challenges facing families, such as the digital divide between generations, declining communication within the family, and economic pressures. The research concludes with the need for families to cooperate with educational institutions and community policies to confront these deviations and protect young people from the risks associated with the digital world.
