Abstract
There is no doubt that language is a tool and instrument that contributes to the dissemination of culture and knowledge in society and in educational and non-educational institutions. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between literary, linguistic and cultural diversity and how this diversity contributes to the intellectual and cognitive richness of the experience of French writer Marguerite Duras (1914-1996). It is to find out what you are doing. Duras (L'Amant 1984) is an example of fiction and investigative literature. The events of the novel are told by protagonists from two different generations and cultures. Duras was one of the new pioneers of cultural and linguistic diversity in this region of Southeast Asia in the 1930 .
