Time Orientation and its relationship with the Type of Personality )A & B) for university students

Abstract

This study aims to recognize the dimensions of time orientation and personality types (A&B) among university students , and the relation between them .The sample consists of (187) male and female students of Baghdad university for the academic year (2012-2013), and the two researchers used time orientation scale (zimbardo,1999)including three dimensions (interesting present one , compulsorily one , and future one ) ,Also they used the scale of (Alwaeely ,2012) personality types (A&B) . The results show the mastery of future orientation on the behavior of students, the type (A) in general , there is statistically significant relation towards future is the biggest indicator to know personality type of individual and the interesting present .
